Main features
- 40-42, 50 or 106 Minute Work Times
- Highly Thixotropic 10:1 Adhesive Family
- 0.75-38 mm Grade-Specific Gaps
Product Description
Plexus MA2245 is highly thixotropic two-part methacrylate structural adhesives for thermoplastic, metal and composite assemblies. Each grade uses a 10:1 mix ratio and retains its own processing and cured-property data. At 23.9 deg C, typical work time is50 minutes for MA2245. All three grades list gap tolerance from 0.75 to 38 mm.
Key features
- Three grade-specific work-time options: At 23.9 deg C, MA2245 is 50 minutes
- 10:1 two-part methacrylate systems
- 0.75-38 mm grade-specific gap tolerance: Each grade lists a gap tolerance of 0.75 to 38 mm in its own technical data.
Applications
Structural bonding of composites, thermoplastics and metals; large-bead and vertical assemblies where the selected grade's work time and technical data support use.

Elongation
40 - 80 %
Elongation is the process of lengthening something.
It is a percentage that measures the initial, unstressed, length compared to the length of the material right before it breaks.
It is commonly referred to as Ultimate Elongation or Tensile Elongation at break.
