Product Description

MOLYKOTE G-807 Low Friction Silicone Compound is a soft, white NLGI 1 silicone compound modified with PTFE solid lubricants for low-friction electromechanical contacts. It is intended primarily for plastic-to-metal and metal-to-rubber lubrication, including automotive ball joints and brake-caliper pins. The compound carries a useful temperature range of -40 to 150 deg C and combines plastic and rubber compatibility with corrosion resistance. Typical properties include 300 unworked penetration, 1.146 specific gravity, 0.5% maximum bleed and 1.0% maximum evaporation under the stated 150 deg C test conditions.
