Main features
- 800 to 1000 cP Flowability
- Low-Exotherm Potting Systems
- Large-Casting Encapsulation Fit
Product Description
LORD RT-8 Hardener is a green, modified tertiary amine component for supported LORD epoxy potting and encapsulation systems. This legacy hardener has a typical viscosity of 800 to 1000 cP and specific gravity of 0.99 at 25 deg C. Within compatible systems, the hardener is used for low-exotherm, semirigid potting, including large castings. RT-8 is a hardener component; its properties do not represent those of a complete cured epoxy system. Current commercial status and exact RT-8 safety documentation require confirmation.
Key features
- Flowable hardener viscosity: Provides a typical 800 to 1000 cP component viscosity at 25 deg C.
- Low-exotherm system behavior: Supports low-exotherm, semirigid behavior when used in the specified compatible epoxy systems.
- Large-casting encapsulation fit: RT-8 is used for potting and encapsulation of large castings in compatible systems.
Applications
Applications include use as the hardener component in supported LORD epoxy potting and encapsulation systems, including large castings within the specified compatible systems.
