LORD 7555

Main features

  • Fast A/C Handling Strength
  • Extended 45-Minute A/E Work Time
  • Non-Sag Bead Placement

Product Description

LORD 7555 Urethane Adhesive / Sealant is a bright-white, equal-mix two-component urethane system for bonding and sealing plastics and prepared metals. Its non-sag formulation holds a bead pattern and can be applied with handheld cartridges. The LORD 7555-A/C configuration provides a typical 3 to 5 minute working time and reaches handling strength in 1 hour at 77 deg F (25 deg C). The LORD 7555-A/E configuration extends working time to 45 minutes and reaches handling strength in 5 to 6 hours. Both configurations mix 1:1 by volume and can be painted immediately after application. The cured material is UV resistant and has a typical elongation of 166%.

Key features

  • Configuration-specific work times: Choose 3 to 5 minutes for LORD 7555-A/C or 45 minutes for LORD 7555-A/E at 77 deg F (25 deg C).
  • Non-sag bead control: The full-bodied formulation holds its bead pattern and resists slumping during application.
  • Immediate paintability: The applied adhesive/sealant can be painted immediately to support faster downstream processing.

Applications

Applications include bonding and sealing plastics and prepared metals, with A/C suited to smaller assemblies and A/E providing more placement time for larger projects.
