LOCTITE SI 5075
Harmonization Code : 3919.10.80 | Other self-adhesive plastic rolls not exceeding 20 cm wide.
Main features
- Self-Fusing Silicone Wrap
- -54 to 260 deg C Operating Range
- 300% Final-Material Elongation
Product Description
LOCTITE SI 5075 is a self-fusing silicone rubber wrap for electrical insulation, temporary sealing, flexible hose and pipe repair, and tool-handle wrapping. The 0.5 mm wrap stretches and fuses to itself, so installation uses overlapping layers without adhesive contact to the underlying surface. Its operating temperature range is -54 to 260 deg C. Typical final-material properties include Shore A hardness 50, tensile strength of 4.8 N/mm^2, 300% elongation, and volume resistivity of 1x10^14 ohm cm.
Key features
- Self-Fusing Installation: The 0.5 mm silicone wrap stretches and fuses to itself in overlapping layers without bonding to the underlying surface.
- Temperature Capability: Operates from -54 to 260 deg C.
- Electrical Insulation: Typical final-material volume resistivity is 1x10^14 ohm cm by IEC 60093.
Applications
Electrical insulation; flexible hose repair; pipe repair; sealing; tool-handle wrapping.
