Product Description
LOCTITE PE 3140 is the black epoxy resin component used as Part A in two-part potting and encapsulation systems. As supplied, the black resin has 11,000 cP viscosity at 25 deg C using spindle 5 at 20 rpm. With LOCTITE PE 3160 hardener, the system mixes at a 3.1:1 resin-to-hardener ratio by volume and has an 80 to 100 minute work time for a 200 g mass at 25 deg C. Cure time is 24 hours at 25 deg C or 2 hours at 66 deg C.
