Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide
Main features
- 4:1 Resin-to-Hardener Mixing
- 148 deg C High-Temperature Post-Cure
- -29 to 232 deg C Dry Service
Product Description
LOCTITE PC 7303 is a two-part high-temperature epoxy wearing compound for protecting industrial equipment from fine-particle abrasion. The dark gray paste mixes 4:1 resin to hardener by both volume and weight and has a typical 30-minute working life at 25 deg C. Recommended applications include pneumatic conveying systems, elbows, chutes, hoppers, cyclones, fan housings, pumps, and similar wear surfaces. Typical dry service temperature is -29 to 232 deg C. Maximum high-temperature performance requires a 2-hour post-cure at 148 deg C. Typical cured properties at 25 deg C include 103.4 N/mm^2 compressive strength by ASTM D695 and Shore D 90 hardness by ASTM D2240.
