LOCTITE PC7202

Main features

  • Self-Leveling Machinery Chocking
  • 10 to 15-Minute Working Window
  • 110 N/mm^2 Cured Compressive Strength

Product Description

LOCTITE PC 7202 is a two-component epoxy chocking system for installing main engines, drive engines, winches, hoists, and other deck-mounted equipment. Resin and hardener mix at 100:11.6 by volume or 100:6.9 by weight. Typical data at 25 deg C include mixed density of 1.5 g/cm^3, working time of 10 to 15 minutes, and cure time of 24 hours. After 24 hours at 25 deg C, typical cured properties include Shore D 90 hardness, 38 N/mm^2 tensile strength, and 110 N/mm^2 compressive strength. The 100% solids epoxy is self-leveling for machinery chocking and grouting applications.

Key features

  • 100:11.6 Volume Mixing: The resin-to-hardener mix ratio is 100:11.6 by volume and 100:6.9 by weight.
  • 10 to 15-Minute Working Time: Typical working time is 10 to 15 minutes at 25 deg C; typical cure time is 24 hours at 25 deg C.
  • 110 N/mm^2 Compressive Strength: After 24 hours at 25 deg C, typical compressive strength is 110 N/mm^2 by ISO 604.

Applications

Chocking and grouting of main engines, drive engines, winches, hoists, and deck-mounted equipment.
