Product Description
LOCTITE LB 8012 is a molybdenum disulfide anti-seize paste for threaded fasteners and running-in lubrication of assemblies. The dark gray paste contains 65% molybdenum disulfide and reduces friction on bolts, nuts and studs to support more uniform clamp loading. It is typically used from -29 to 400 deg C and remains in place under heat, load and vibration. For 12.7 mm grade 8 steel bolts with grade 5 nuts, the torque coefficient is 0.11, compared with 0.27 for solvent-cleaned, unlubricated fasteners.
