Product Description
LOCTITE EA 9845LC AERO is an epoxy-based composite surfacing film that incorporates lightweight copper foil for electrical conductivity in aircraft lightning-strike surfacing applications. The heat-curing film is compatible with lightning-strike screens and foils and is used to improve the surface quality of honeycomb-stiffened composite parts. Enhanced leveling minimizes core crush and porosity during the applicable composite process. Good tack supports placement during fabrication, while the finished film resists micro-cracking and the effects of UV exposure. Applications include aircraft composite surfacing, composite bonding, and lightning-strike surfacing systems.
