Harmonization Code : 3910.00.00.90 | Silicones in Primary Forms; Others
Main features
- High-Viscosity Formulation
- Fast Fixture Speed
- Blue Color For Inspection
Product Description
LOCTITE 5144H is a high-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive formulated for bonding rubber substrates and other dissimilar or porous materials. This one-part, moisture-curing adhesive features a blue liquid appearance that supports visual quality control during application. Its viscosity helps accommodate small gaps, while its fast fixture speed on EPDM substrates can support efficient assembly processes. LOCTITE® 5144H™ develops functional bond strength rapidly and continues curing for up to 24 hours to achieve full chemical and solvent resistance.
Key features
- High-viscosity formulation: Viscosity of 1,700–2,750 cP supports gap-filling applications and controlled dispensing.
- Fast fixture speed: Achieves fixture time of ≤30 seconds on EPDM under test conditions.
- Blue color for inspection: Facilitates visual quality verification during adhesive application.
Applications / Suitable for
- Bonding EPDM and other rubber substrates
- Joining dissimilar materials
- Bonding porous materials
- Assembly applications requiring rapid fixture times
