LAIRD CR112

Main features

  • 12-to-18-GHz Absorber Grade
  • Castable Two-Part Epoxy System
  • Molded and Localized RF Absorption

Product Description

Eccosorb CR-112 is a two-part castable epoxy microwave absorber for molding waveguide terminations, attenuators, loads, and custom RF parts or for precisely potting small absorber volumes around RF leakage paths. The system combines Part A resin and Part B catalyst at 100:11.3 by weight. Heating Part A to about 65 deg C improves pourability, and the mixed material has about 30 minutes of pot life at 65 deg C. Recommended cure options range from 1 hour at 150 deg C to 12 hours at 75 deg C. After cure, CR-112 is recommended for the 12 to 18 GHz range.

Key features

  • 12-to-18-GHz absorber grade: The recommended frequency range for CR-112 is 12 to 18 GHz.
  • Two-part castable epoxy: Part A resin and Part B catalyst mix at 100:11.3 by weight.
  • Moldable RF absorption: The liquid system molds terminations, attenuators, loads, and custom RF parts.

Applications

Waveguide terminations, attenuators, loads, molded RF parts, and localized potting around RF leakage paths.
