Harmonization Code : 3909.20.00.90 | Amino-resins, phenolic resins and polyurethanes, in primary forms : Melamine resins : Other
Main features
- Hydrochloric-Acid Pickling Inhibition
- Non-Foaming Liquid Bath Additive
- 1 to 6 g/L Process Concentration
Product Description
BONDERITE S-AD 50 is a non-foaming liquid inhibitor for hydrochloric-acid pickling processes. It is used to reduce acid attack on ferrous materials during pickling, including pretreatment ahead of electroplating or phosphating, and it is also suitable for selected cold-pickling applications on aluminum. The brownish liquid is typically used at 1 to 6 g/L in immersion baths and can operate at temperatures up to 85 deg C. A typical density of about 1.06 g/cm3 and a 24-month shelf life support practical bath preparation and storage planning.
Key features
- Hydrochloric-Acid Pickling Inhibition: Reduces acid attack on ferrous materials during hydrochloric-acid pickling.
- Non-Foaming Liquid Format: Supplied as a liquid inhibitor with non-foaming behavior for pickling-bath use.
- Controlled Bath Concentration: Recommended at 1 to 6 g/L for immersion processing.
Applications
Hydrochloric-acid pickling inhibition for ferrous materials, including pretreatment before electroplating or phosphating; selected cold-pickling use on aluminum.
