Product Description
BONDERITE M-AD 500 is an alkaline liquid additive for pH and free-acid adjustment in metal-pretreatment baths. It reduces free acid in zinc-phosphating baths and increases pH in iron-phosphating processes. For a 0.1-point free-acid reduction in 1,000 L of bath, the guidance specifies 0.5 kg, equivalent to 0.44 L, added slowly after approximately 1:4 pre-dilution. Small-step addition, good bath agitation, and pH checks provide a controlled adjustment sequence for immersion and spray pretreatment operations.
